Co-educational for children 6 to 12 years of age.
Camp Description
Seichou Karate® Day Camp strengthens young minds and bodies in a fun “immersion” environment that includes karate, Japanese language, calligraphy, arts & crafts, and group games and challenges. The program helps children develop greater self-confidence and a “can do” attitude. The principles and practice of karate teach them self-control and focus. We also teach children to become street safe through role-playing and through practical self-defense techniques. Japanese language is taught through fun activities and the children are encouraged to use what they learn throughout the day. Other activities include hikes, picnics and field trips to local museums, as well as team sports like soccer, kickball and swimming.
