Seichou Karate Instructors
A native of Tottori, Japan, Ms. Kazuko Kano is a master Japanese Calligrapher (Shodo) and artist. Since 1985, Kano Sensei (teacher) has been a member of the Japan Calligraphy Education Foundation (JCEF), a national organization in Japan that ranks both amateur and professional calligraphers, issues licenses to calligraphy teachers, holds national competitions, and supports the dissemination of the art of calligraphy worldwide. Ms. Kano has won numerous calligraphy awards from JCEF. As Seichou Karate Limited's Director of Japanese Calligraphic Arts, she is responsible for designing calligraphy curricula, authoring calligraphy texts, teaching calligraphy classes, and implementing our calligraphy instructor's training program. Ms. Kano holds a B.A. in literature from Kobe Women's University and is currently a candidate for a master's degree in videographic arts at American University. She also holds a high school teaching license from the Japanese government. Ms. Kano speaks Japanese and English.
