A. Our headquarters is at 807 North Royal Street, Alexandria, VA 22314, which is between Madison and Montgomery streets. We also hold classes in the District of Columbia at Tenley Sport & Health, 4000 Wisconsin Avenue, NW.

A. We’re open Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

A. The goal of Seichou Karate® is to train students whose martial strength is only eclipsed by the abundance of their hearts.
Q. Who are the Seichou Karate® instructors and what are their credentials?
A. Seichou Karate was founded in 1989 by Sensei Richard Romero. He is assisted by a team of highly experienced professionals. All Seichou Karate® instructors possess black belt ranking, instructors certification, and masters degrees or higher levels of education. See our instructor profiles here.
Q. What programs do you offer and what will I learn?
A. Seichou Karate® specializes traditional Japanese martial and cultural arts including Karate, Japanese Language, and Japanese Calligraphy. In addition, we offer a variety of other programs including Yoga, Theatrical Dance/Ballet for young children, Self-defense for adults and teens, and Team-building for organizations. Q. Will I be required to attend class at certain times?
A. No. Seichou Karate® students may choose from a schedule of classes that meet every day of the week. See our class schedule here.
Q. Do I have to enroll for an extended period?
A. No. Seichou Karate® students may choose from month-to-month enrollment, 6-month enrollment, 12-month enrollment. We also permit drop-in enrollment in special cases.
